Over my career as an artist my work has focused on a broad range of concepts from landscape to advertising (its impact, packaging, signage and mass consumerism), from ancient cultures to popular culture and autobiographical narrative. I have also produced several series of works that were inspired by trips I have done to South East Asia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico and South America respectively.

In recent years my curiosity with the landscape has become honed to a more local perspective. I have always been interested in the idea of how, as inhabitants with in a landscape, we have tried to tame it and how it has the potential to subjugate the occupants within it. My current work reflects the many layers of tension this creates.
